The Michelle Chiou Foundation gives to ongoing efforts and organizations that serve children worldwide. We like to support any program that lifts, shelters, and educates - while inspiring children to stand tall in their communities. On occasion we give directly to the families, as we recognize that most needs begin right at home. We like to help parents realize that many times the future they see (or cannot see) shines in the eyes of their children.
The problems we seek to solve are often complex and require a sustained commitment and follow-up in order to deliver the needed results. We carefully study, review, and select our partner organizations and evaluate our contributions and project implementations. We personally visit and spend time with both the organizations we fund and the actual recipients of the funding. This is a big part of what we like to call "The MCF Way" - personally serving the children and the people committed to serving them.
