一、偏鄉​清寒學生教育及職業發展方案


Project - Education and Career Development Programs

​for Students from Underprivileged Families


1. 線上課程 
本會藉由提供設備及線上課程(本協會附設課輔中心-墾學園所有的課程,外師英文課例外)供方案中因交通不便而無法至墾學園上課且學習表現良好,或是較有學習意願的學生,使學生們在課業上的成績更上一層樓。老師們也調整了與實體課截然不同的上課方式,引導學生專心上課。自2021年度下半年開始,目前共有32位學生。(以上數據計算截止時間為2022/12/31)

(I) Online Courses
According to the instruction of our Chairman, she hopes to offer needed instructional materials and online courses (including current programs of our Learning Center with the exception of English classes with foreign teachers) to the project students with better academic grades as well as those with the intended desire to improve their academic performance, but are unable to attend in-person classes in MCF Learning Center due to transportation or other personal issues. Since the second half of 2021, there are currently 32 students. (The cut-off time for the calculation of the above data is 2022/12/31)​.
2. 職涯探索
弱勢家庭的孩子們普遍存在著害羞、缺乏自信心,原生家庭對他們在學習上產生負面的影響則需要專業的協助;本會藉由心理諮商與職涯探索活動的安排,幫助這些弱勢家庭孩子處理情緒及過去的負向經驗,讓他們看見自己、接納自己,從中發現未來人生職涯方向目標,進而能勇於嘗試、挑戰自己,發掘自己人生無限的可能性。
自2021年下半年度開始,已完成2梯次,共計20位學生;預計年底前,將再舉辦2梯次以完成剩餘20位報名的學生。(以上數據合併附設課輔中心-墾學園的報名學生人數計算)。

(II) Vocational Counseling
According to the instruction of our Chairman, mental health and vocational counseling shall be arranged to help children from underprivileged backgrounds to deal with their emotions and any traumatic experiences in seeing themselves and accepting themselves. These services are also provided to help students discover their careers, and in turn transform individuals to become more courageous in trying and challenging times to help them discover the limitless possibilities of life.

二、惠瑜慈善協會附設課輔中心-墾學園


Project - MCF Learning Center (Free to Students)

1. 實體課輔班 (一對一或一對二家教式教學)
現代社會雙親家庭多,孩子送安親班的現象很普遍。在那裡有老師盯看作業加強功課,讓孩子成績有不錯的表現,不過安親班費用,也是一筆不小的開銷。但是,弱勢家庭的孩子,通常父母的教育程度,無法親自為孩子解答學習上的疑問。家庭收入也沒有送孩子到安親班的餘力。惠瑜慈善協會看到這個隱憂現象,為弱勢學童的課業補救教學,開了一條光明之路。雖然,學校會提供課後輔導,不過多為大班制團體20人-30人。對於弱勢學生的學習效果,較無法達到有效成效。協會則能針對弱勢低成就學童,提供個人的學習輔導。教導的大哥哥和大姊姊們,非常關心學生,在良好的互動下,讓他/她們提高學習意願,獲得學習成就上的自信,大大提升課業競爭力。目前,惠瑜慈善協會已輔導10所國中小的補救教學,跟弱勢家庭的孩子們,一起努力不懈。看著孩子積極向上的態度,正是協會努力不懈的動力。

(I) In-Person Courses of 1:1 or 1:2 Teaching
There are many two-parent families in modern society, and it is very common for children to be sent to after-school classes. There are teachers watching the homework to strengthen the homework, so that the children can perform well in grades, but the fee for the parenting class is not a small expense. However, children from disadvantaged families usually have parents who are not educated enough to personally answer their children's learning questions. The family income does not have the spare capacity to send the children to the after school classes. MCF saw this worrying phenomenon and opened a bright road for the remedial teaching of schoolwork for disadvantaged students. Although, the school will provide after-school tutoring, but most of them are large groups of 20-30 people. For the disadvantaged students' learning effect, it is difficult to achieve effective results. MCF can provide individual learning guidance for disadvantaged and low-achieving students. The big brothers and sisters who teach are very concerned about the students. With good interaction, they can improve their willingness to learn, gain confidence in their academic achievements, and greatly enhance their academic competitiveness. ​At present, MCF has tutored 10 elementary and junior high schools in remedial teaching, working tirelessly with children from disadvantaged families. Looking at the positive attitude of the children is the driving force for MCF to make unremitting efforts.

2. 線上課程 (因應Covid-19疫情爆發)
因應本土Covid-19疫情升溫,教育部宣布全國各級學校自5/19停課至7/12,實體課輔班改以線上授課方式進行。由於學生們皆來自經濟弱勢家庭,家中沒有設備或有網路訊號不良等問題,因此我們購買平板、筆電、網路卡及相關週邊設備送到學生家中並教學使用視訊軟體,也同時協助學生們上學校線上課;老師們調整了與實體課截然不同的上課方式,班導師也會在跟課的過程中解決學生上線等問題。

​(II) Online Courses (Due to the severe Covid-19 outbreak)
Due to the severe Covid-19 outbreak, the Ministry of Education has announced that all levels of schools nationwide shall suspend all classes from May 19th 2021. So far, the alert has been extended three times until July 12th 2021. On the first week of the emergency class suspension, the chairman instantly instructed the substitution plan of online classes. With reference to cases in Europe and America, the alert is not likely to be canceled within a short period of time. However, students’ learning may not be suspended. We purchased tablets, notebooks, WIFI routers, and relevant auxiliary items for students to borrow and use. We also assist students in taking online courses provided by the school. Students at our center are from underprivileged backgrounds that may have problems of using the proper technological equipment and accessing internet bandwidth.​
3. 提供進步獎學金
為鼓勵本會贊助之學生在課業進步、良好生活表現及校內外活動參與,特訂定此辦法。符合標準辦法的學生可於每學期開學後兩週內,提供連續二個學期的成績單並附上自我介紹提出申請。即便學生成績表現不符合審核標準,本會仍給予該學生機會,以書面敘述緣由或附上其他成績單以外的表現再作申請。

​(III) Merit and Performance-Based Scholarship
To encourage students to focus on schoolwork, school life and curriculum as well as extra- curriculum activities, our foundation stipulates this regulation. Students who meet the minimum requirements shall submit their academic transcripts for two consecutive semesters, along with a self-introduction letter within two weeks once the new semester starts. Even though the academic results of students might not meet the minimum requirements, our foundation still allows such students to justify or provide further explanations regarding their submission or provide other performance results for reapplication.

4. 職涯探索
墾學園鼓勵培養學生們自我成長與自信心建立。課輔中心設立之初,以提昇學生學習興趣為主要目標,用活潑生動的方式取代學校制式的教學,聘請的老師們大多有多年家教課輔經驗,在引導學生學習方面頗有成效,但原生家庭對他們在學習上產生負面的影響則需要專業的協助;本會藉由心理諮商與職涯探索活動的安排,幫助這些弱勢家庭孩子處理情緒及過去的負向經驗,讓他們看見自己、接納自己,從中發現未來人生職涯方向目標,進而能勇於嘗試、挑戰自己,發掘自己人生無限的可能性。
自2021年下半年度開始,已完成2梯次,共計20位學生;預計年底前,將再舉辦2梯次以完成剩餘20位報名的學生。(以上數據合併清寒學生教育及職業發展方案的報名學生人數計算)

​(IV) Vocational Counseling
The MCF Learning Center encourages fostering personal growth and self-confidence in our students. Upon the establishment of the MCF Learning Center, our chairman-Michelle instructed that our primary target is to improve the students’ learning interests. The center aims to substitute the systematic teaching at schools with interactive methodologies and provides academic and vocational services from experienced teachers and counselors with relevant backgrounds. These hired staff members may help with students’sense of achievement through a child-center approach. However, the students’ interpersonal and social skills require professional assistance. According to our Chairman, mental health and vocational counseling shall be arranged to help children from underprivileged backgrounds in dealing with their emotions and the traumatic experiences and accepting themselves and others to discover their life careers, and in turn help transform individuals to become more courageous during challenging times to discover the limitless possibilities of life.

一般學校提供為團體20-30人大班課後輔導,對於弱勢學生,學習效果不佳,我們協會提供針對個人,及弱勢學習較差學生給予加強,加上大哥哥大姊姊們關心,提高意願,加強自信心,增加競爭力。

  • 2022/09/28 苗栗縣建國國中開課 (8位同學)。建國國中採用1對1及1對2教學(1組)。
  • 2022/10/03 苗栗縣文英國中開課 (10位同學)。文英國中採用1對1及1對2教學(1組)。
  • 2022/09/21 新竹市龍山國小開課 (11位同學)。龍山國小採用1對2教學。
  • 2022/09/21 新北市思賢國小開課 (5位同學)。思賢國小採用1對1教學。
  • 2022/09/21 新北市頭前國中開課 (20位同學)。頭前國中採用1對2教學。

(I) 1:1 or 1:2 Teaching
Generally, schools provide after-school tutoring for large groups of 20-30 people. For disadvantaged students, the learning effect is not good. Our association provides reinforcement for individuals and disadvantaged students with poor learning conditions. In addition, the big brothers and sisters in our program truly care about improving the education for our students. Strengthen self-confidence and increase competitiveness.
  • ​2022/09/28 Jianguo Junior High School in Miaoli County started classes (8 students). Jianguo Junior High School adopts 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 teaching (1 group).
  • 2022/10/03 Miaoli County English Middle School started class (10 students). Miaoli County English Middle School adopts 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 teaching (1 group).
  • 2022/09/21 Longshan Elementary School in Hsinchu City started classes (11 students). Longshan Elementary School adopts 1-to-2 teaching.
  • 2022/09/21 Sixian Elementary School in New Taipei City started classes (5 students). Sixian Elementary School adopts 1-to-1 teaching.
  • 2022/09/21 New Taipei City Touqian Junior High School starts class (20 students). Touqian Junior High School adopts 1-to-2 teaching.
  • 2022/09/12 Xinzhuang Elementary School in New Taipei City started classes (7 students). Xinzhuang Elementary School adopts 1-to-2 teaching.
  • 2022/09/13 New Taipei City Xinghua Elementary School started classes (6 students). Xinghua Elementary School adopts 2/3 of 1-to-1 teaching and 1/3 of 1-to-2 teaching.
  • 2022/09/26 Yongfu Elementary School in New Taipei City started classes (10 students). Yongfu Elementary School adopts 1-to-2 teaching.
  • 2022/10/24 New Taipei City Sanhe Junior High School started classes (12 students). Sanhe Junior High School adopts 1-to-2 teaching.
  • 2022/12/01 New Taipei City Guangrong Elementary School started classes (9 students). Guangrong Elementary School adopts 1-to-2 teaching.

2. 與博幼基金會, 三灣國中, 三方補救教學
為協助偏鄉學校之學生因家庭環境及資源相對缺乏造成學業普遍落後,與博幼基金會合作,該基金會成立於2002年,針對弱勢家庭之學童透過課後輔導提昇其教育程度進而增加競爭力與本協會宗旨相同,此方案由學校安排老師人選、需補救教學的學生,博幼提供教師訓練、教材、測驗卷、課程進度調整,本協會負責所有課程經費、學生學習記錄及協助學生關懷等。本期課程自2021/9/22 至2022/1/13,每週上課4天,每天2堂,共計 130堂;對象為七年級學生;輔導科目分別為英文、數學。

​(II) Cooperating with Boyou Foundation and Sanwan Junior High School for Remedial Teaching
To assist students in remote townships who generally have academic achievement lagging behind due to their family environments and relatively fewer resources, we collaborate with BOYO Social Welfare Foundation. That foundation was established in 2002; it focuses on improving the education standards for students from underprivileged families through after-school counseling, and in turn improve their competitive strength, which is consistent with the purpose of our foundation. Regarding the project, schools are responsible for arranging teacher candidates and students who require remedial teaching, BOYO Social Welfare Foundation is responsible for providing teachers’ training, text books, exam papers, the adjustments to the program progress and our foundation is responsible for the funding of the program, students’ learning records, assistance in student care and etc. The program for this period in Sanwan Junior High School is for students in grade 7 from September 22nd 2021, to January 13th 2022, 4 days a week, 2 classes per day, total 130 classes and the remedial subjects and English and mathematics.

​3. 2023/03/01 預計苗栗縣南庄國中開課。

(III) 2023/03/01 Nanzhuang Junior High School in Miaoli County is Expected to Start Classes.
